What if the stories of the Bible continued with your story?

I’ve been reflecting on this, and I truly believe the Holy Spirit has been putting it in my heart. The Bible was written the way it was—full of names and stories—because those were the testimonies of people who encountered God as Jesus Christ and lived out their story with Him. Their stories help us understand what God can do, how He moves, and how He transforms lives.

But when you meet God—God as Jesus Christ—He becomes your God.
And with Him, you start writing your own story.

As Christians, the leaders we admire—catholic saints, pastors, entrepreneurs, people with influence—are also living their own “Bible stories.” Their life with Jesus Christ is a testimony, just like the people in Scripture.

This perspective has helped me let go of the rigid mindset I used to have when I believed Christianity was only about reading the Bible and knowing old stories. Yes, we must study Scripture, meditate on it, and be rooted in it. But we must also see ourselves as disciples continuing the story of Jesus Christ on earth.

This blog is part of my story with Jesus Christ. And there are so many things He has done for me that I still cannot fully write about—they are too deep.

When you look at the characters in Scripture—Esther, Ruth, Moses, Elijah—they were ordinary people until their encounter with God. They were flawed, abandoned, fearful, grieving, confused people… until Jesus Christ revealed Himself to them as God and called them into something great.

And Jesus Christ is calling you too.

But many of us run away because we think God only calls “special people.”
We think His power only moved in Bible times.
I used to think like that, too.

But when I finally said, “Jesus, I need to know You for myself,” everything changed. I realised:

The same Jesus Christ who parted the sea for Moses is the same Jesus Christ who will open doors for me.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

He is closer to you than you think.
He sees you.
He knows you.
He loves you.

The real blockage is often that we don’t believe we deserve His love. We don’t accept it. And because of that, we don’t see how invested Jesus Christ wants to be in our story.

So ask yourself:

What if the Bible didn’t end at Revelation?
What if it continues through your life with Jesus Christ?

The Bible is complete as a book, but the story of God with humanity continues.
Jesus Christ is still writing testimonies.
He’s just not writing them on scrolls anymore—
He’s writing them in:

your life
your deliverance
your healing
your purpose
your transformation
your obedience
your ministry
your story

Through Paul, the gospel went from Jews to Gentiles—people like me, who had no Jewish background but still encountered Jesus Christ, the living God, through the Holy Spirit. If Paul hadn’t obeyed, we wouldn’t even have access to this level of relationship today.

And here is something else the Holy Spirit taught me:

The goal of the gospel is not just salvation—it is transformation.
It is for us to become like Christ in our lives and environments,
to have an impact,
to solve problems in our generation through the power of God.

It breaks my heart when I see Christians who refuse to step up or innovate because they believe God is only meant to be experienced on Sunday or only when they need something. No—Jesus Christ wants to partner with you in everything. You have to grow deeper. You have to seek Him so that He can reveal solutions, strategies, and ideas for your community.

God heals, delivers, and elevates others through human vessels.
So what is the point of complaining about the problems in your community if you won’t allow God to use you as the solution?

We are the light of the world.
We are the salt of the earth.
We are the vessels.

I’m learning to see my life as a continuation of the story of Jesus Christ.
I am a chapter He is writing.
A vessel He is shaping.
A continuation of His eternal work.

Even Jesus, while on earth as God in flesh, waited for the Holy Spirit to descend before beginning His ministry—showing us that we need the power of God (the Holy Spirit) to walk in purpose. We are all called to represent Christ differently, but we can't do it if we have a relationship; we are not in intimacy with God. This is because you need a divine strategy to accomplish the mission, or else you will fail, and God doesn't want you to fail.

The written Bible ends at Revelation, but the work of Jesus Christ does not.
He is eternal.
His Kingdom is eternal.
His plans continue from generation to generation.

You are not excluded from that continuation.
You are not a side character.
You are part of the story—
a living testimony of Jesus Christ.

You are the next chapter.
