Life's Ultimate Mission

Many of us spend most of our lives chasing ambition rather than focusing on what is essential—the Lord Jesus Christ—becoming His disciple, which should be the essence of our lives. But often we try to mix ourselves with the things of the world, wanting to fit in because of trauma and feeding our ego.

I know that one of the fuels behind my ambition, desire for visibility, and more “stuff” to feed my ego was that I came from a modest family that barely had water and electricity at home. I was abandoned at crucial moments in my teenage years, so I had to fight on myself. I prayed to God, of course, but I still thought that everything could only be done by my effort. The instability in my life made me dependent only on myself. Yet I clung to things and people — they became idols in my heart. They became obsessions. I almost needed money, validation, projects, friends, and love from men to feel like I existed, to feel happy constantly. I was deceived by early childhood disappointment, thinking that this was all life was about.

I limited myself, and without knowing, I limited God. And this, my dear friends, is something that upsets the Lord.

How do you limit God?
When he asks you to do something, and you bring 20+ reasons why you can't. When you tell Him you’re not the right person for the assignment. In your spirit, you even mock God by assuming He can’t do X or Y through you. I did that, and yet I still prayed. How double-minded. The Bible says such attitudes will not see the manifestation of their prayers.

Faith has many layers, but it's all about alignment. It’s a habit you must keep practising because if you’re used to disappointment, transformation takes time. But have hope: all things are possible with God. Surrender your limited mindset into His hands, and He will help you change it.

Don’t waste your life chasing ambition and worldly goals. It leads nowhere spiritually. You may amass wealth, friends, and admiration, but the opinion that truly matters is God’s — our Creator, the ultimate Judge.

The Holy Spirit put in my heart that life should be focused on 3 important objectives:

1. Fellowship with God

Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and constantly build intimacy with Him in secret — not just going to church and repeating prayers out of routine. Come to God as a friend with a genuine heart. Consume His content. Read His Word. Open your heart so the Holy Spirit can draw you near.

2. Loving ourselves and our neighbour.

We only project what we carry inside. If it’s hard for you to love people, there is pain inside you that still needs healing.

Love must be nurtured. Relationships must be cherished.

Whenever I hear stories of people battling deadly diseases like cancer, they often say what helped them push through was the love of their close ones. In your last days, what you desire most is not money—it’s love.

This is why God commands us to love. And He defines it clearly:

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not proud… It keeps no record of wrongs. Love protects, hopes, perseveres. Love never fails.

Love is our true nature. Don’t let pain blind you from who you are.

3. Doing the will of the Father.

Our Lord Jesus Christ would  constantly said He was on earth to do the will of the Father — even when people called Him crazy. He never changed His language. As Christians, He is our model. We must seek God’s plan for our lives and submit to it. God may show you His plans, and you accept them — but struggle with the timing. That is part of doing His will.
Other times He sends you, but fear makes you procrastinate and invent excuses.
But it is not about you — it is about God’s Kingdom.

If you delay, people are suffering. Someone is crying out for an answer, and you are the answer God wants to send — but you are stalling because you’re worried about how you will be perceived.
How selfish.

You must step out of your own  way and submit to God’s will. God’s nature is to protect you. He will never send you somewhere to fail. Yield to His instruction, take the steps of obedience, because at the end of your life you will give an account for your works.

The resources we have — money, houses, cars, people — are for stewardship. God entrusted them to you for a specific period. That’s why we take nothing with us when we die. It never belonged to us. Don’t cling to anything. You are asked to steward it in the right direction, and you cannot do that without God’s power.

How sad would it be to have amassed everything, but never used it to do God’s work — to touch His people, save souls, impact lives, and remain in communion with Jesus as He guides you?

When was the last time you did something out of your comfort zone for God?
Yet you want Him to move mountains for you.

Have fear of the Lord, reverence for Him. He is almighty and powerful — with one strike He can take you out, yet His mercy keeps you alive because He wants you to wake up and make the right decisions. But you waste that time worrying and chasing the wrong things.

If God doesn’t build whatever you expect in your life, let me tell you: it is worthless in the spiritual realm. The world may applaud it — but God does not.

Every aspect of your life matters to Him.
He cares about all of it.
That is why He often talks to you about things not in the Bible — but personal to your growth.

For example, the Lord speaks to me a lot about patience, money, and personal development. But He rarely speaks to me about health because He knows I love working out — so if He asked me to run, I’d do it easily. But areas like waiting for Him to bring the right job, or not being anxious about money — those are tough, because I want to be in control. God is building those parts of me.

I built my own life for years, and it was frustrating, unstable, and exhausting. This season God is asking me to wait, sit back, and let Him work. It contradicts my nature — but by submitting to His will, I’m starting to focus on what truly matters. Ive found so mcuh peace in just letting go .

Just Remember

Life is short, my dear brothers and sisters in the Lord. We don’t know when we shall pass. This world is full of distractions, false prophets, and tragedies. We lose sight of the three important things:

• Fellowship with God
• Loving ourselves and nurturing valuable relationships
• Following God’s will and trusting His timing

What is one thing God is asking you to leave or let go of, but you're too scared to let him handle it? mediate on this question

May the Lord give us grace and strength to truly live a worthy life so that when we stand before Him for judgment, we receive the reward of faithful servants.

Amen. Stay blessed.
